Dentistry From The Heart is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to providing free dental care to those who need it. In 2007 Dr. Caldon, Dr. O'Connor, Dr. O'Neill and volunteer staff provided $19,325 in free dentistry to needy adults in their community.
High Peaks Dental Gives to the Community
Plattsburgh, NY - This August 2nd, 2008 Dr. Caldon, Dr. O'Connor and Dr. O'Neill from High Peaks Dental would like to spread goodwill and cheer to the local community with their Dentistry From The Heart event. This event will be held at their Plattsburgh dental office, located at 55 Cornelia Street. This annual gift of free fillings, extractions and cleanings will help provide dentistry for needy adults within the community. Dentistry From the Heart originated in Tampa Bay, FL, where Dr. Monticciolo's dental office recently completed their sixth annual event. This year, 15 other practices around the nation are holding the event and we are all hoping Dentistry From The Heart continues to spread to communities nationwide throughout the year.
During this August 2, 2008 event, High Peaks Dental and its volunteer staff will see adult patients from 7:30AM-6PM on a first come first serve basis. The biggest demand will be from people who've been hurting for a long time. This is what they need: someone who can do a little work for them at no charge. All that is asked for is a smile in return and a thank you.
High Peaks Dental and its team will do whatever they can on Dentistry From The Heart day to relieve pain and fix problems. They spend the rest of the year simply running a traditional dental practice. One day may seem a small thing but they know it will make a difference in the lives of the people who come to them for help.
